This post is about a certain room that I love. It is on the ground floor of King’s House on Sidney Street, and it is called Seminar Room One.
There is something about this room that makes me feel warm, fuzzy and glowing all over inside. It makes me wanna curl up with a cushion and laugh teeheehee everytime I think about it.
This room has big sliding doors that can open out into the main street – they remind me of my great-grandmother’s house in Gelugor.
This room carries the glow and warmth of dim IKEA lights that emanate from the corner of the room.
It was in this room that I sat for Alpha Course and had the most delicious English meal ever.
In this room I watched Hotel Rwanda, The Prestige, Transformers and The Incredible Hulk with the best people ever.
In this room I had smoothies, played jenga and listened to live music.
In this room many conversations have been exchanged, many friendships forged and many precious minutes spent with God’s people, who carry His spirit.
In this room the best is yet to come and I can’t wait.
Prov 24:3-4 A house is built on wisdom, its rooms on knowledge like treasure.
