New vote issue

The old vote is gone, the new has come. Last month’s question was, do you prefer soap bars or shower gels?

There was a resounding 50/50 split on the issue, and wanphing is sad to admit she wanted Team Soap to win.

All is well this month, as August sees most Britons and Europeans go abroad for holiday. The new vote issue is, can we charge foreign tourists higher admission prices into local attractions?

This question was raised after wanphing did extensive research on tours in Sabah and Sarawak, and was shocked to discover that non-Malaysians pay at least six-fold the price a Malaysian would pay to popular sites like the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. Click here for proof.

Can you imagine if the London Eye had different admission prices for UK and non-UK residents? Or EU and non-EU travellers? Perhaps this is revenge on the extortionate university fees we pay over here.
