On my way to work this morning, I spotted a Russell Brand look-alike. He disembarked from the Metrolink and I walked behind him to get a closer look. I looked at his brown brogues, his stripy skinny work trousers and his crazy big hair.
Hmm, quirky corporate man.
Then I walked onto Bridge Street and saw an RPatz look-alike. He was sitting in a shop, having a cigarette and waiting for work to begin. I looked at his trainers splashed with paint, dirty blue jeans and his pale pale face.
Hmm, emo British boy.
On my way to work in the morning, I see many different people. Many different faces, and many different places. I have stopped gazing at my trainers, or looking past stranger’s heads. I meet them in the eye, so they know I look at them.
Hmm, modern city life.
