My ideal weekend is one where I’m left alone to read and devour magazines, hang around in my dressing gown all day and eat student food ie. pasta with frankfurters.
I read an interview recently with a young writer, Rachel Thorpe, who said something that made me thankful I wasn’t the only one out there with quirky hobbies.
Q: As a child what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I have always wanted to write. When I was about eight years old I obsessively collected newspaper cuttings of interesting stories and beautiful images, a habit that has stayed with me.
Indeed, my scissors are always at hand.
I would love to read and devour your glossy fashion women’s magazines with you.
