I sell rooms. That’s what I do for a living. But what are rooms? A part or division of a building enclosed by walls, floor and ceiling. A space that can be occupied and where something can be done. Figuratively, it is the opportunity or scope for something to happen or be done, especially without causing trouble or damage.
But what does my father have to say about rooms? That there is more than enough room in his father’s house. That there is room for everyone in his father’s house. If this wasn’t true, he wouldn’t have told me he was going to prepare a place for me. When everything is ready, he’ll come and get me.
