Sounds I woke up to as a child in my parents’ home:

2. The azan prayer
3. Farting lorries
4. Farting school buses (bas sekolah)
5. Farting factory buses (bas kilang)
6. Big sis practicing the piano
7. Neighbour scratching metal spatula on wok
8. Mum hammering garlic on the wooden chopping board
9. Blockbuster action scenes from Dad playing LDs in the living room
10. The lawn mower (the most irritating of them all!)
