Some people are just
totally oblivious
to other people’s lives
the marginalised
security guards after dark
janitors, cleaners, waiters
construction workers
foreigners
oh to just open your eyes
and see
your brothers and sisters
born equal, just like you
sojourners in this world
just like you.
