Ahoy there! As I’m writing this we’re well into 2022, but in keeping with tradition, I’d still like to review what went down the month before.
My December kicked off with a doctor’s appointment. Then it was filled with picnics, parties and dinners ahead for Christmas – in Desa Park City, D’island Puchong and Southville Bangi. After that I zoomed off to Penang for 18 days, clearing my annual leave to celebrate Christmas, New Year and my birthday at home.
As usual, I went to see my favourite hairdresser Rainb Ragazzo in Batu Ferringhi and cut short about six to seven inches in hair length. Then I spent a day out bringing my grandfather to his mother’s home in Gelugor, where we spent an afternoon of lunch and photo album flipping with the relatives.

I must say that this Christmas, I received many good gifts ie. a good quality thermos, shower oils, cleansers, and a really nice Christmas mug with a lid that makes space for an accompanying teaspoon! Clever designs FTW. I also exercised loads knowing I was eating loads during the festive season.
In December, I read four books, two whilst in KL and two in Penang. They were Roald Dahl’s “Danny, Champion of the World” and “The BFG”. The last two were “Emerging Malaysian Writers 2018” published by the Malaysian Writers Society and “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt” by Anne Rice.
